Jim – [explaining to Dwight that he can’t be his Bestish Mensch] I just… really wish there was something I could do [Jim looks off into the distance].

Dwight – [turns around, surprised] – Michael. I can’t believe you came.

Michael – That’s what she said.


I love being surprised… the good way. It makes me feel a flurry of emotions in a very short span of time, and it reminds me that life is filled with unexpected twists and turns. It can be as simple as someone leaving a bag of chips on your desk for no reason, or as miraculous as a family member getting pregnant after years of trying (and trust me, I’m speaking from experience here). But a FOOD surprise? That’s rare. In fact, the older you get, and the more your palette develops, the less likely your jaw will drop from a new food experience. It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas… at the Circuit

Christmas is awesome. First of all, you get to spend time with people you love. Secondly, you can get drunk and no one can say anything… Not bad for one day. It’s really the greatest day of all time – Michael Scott


Christmas is hands down my favorite time of the year. I get to whip out my fancy winter clothes, eat s’mores, slurp ramen, and spend time with friends and family. So naturally, around this time of year, I’m constantly trying to plan things to do that are Christmas-y. Up until now, the Trail of Lights at Zilker has been one of the most iconic Austin things you could do in December. ATX Spotlight: Mueller Lake Park

I want it to be a perfect park with a state-of-the-art swing set and basketball courts, and off to the side a lovely sitting area for kids with asthma to watch other kids play. – Leslie Knope
